Be Wary! Be Grateful! ⬩ (Don’t)believe!
The program for children is based on a musical part but also on a spoken word that will be given in Czech language only. The program will not be supplied with English subtitles.
Programme
Karl Jenkins: The Armed Man (1999)
A music and movement workshop based on active listening and work with selected parts of the mass The Armed Man by Karl Jenkins. The subtitle of the mass is A Mass for Peace, and it was dedicated to the victims of the war in Kosovo. With music that young people can relate to, it presents the themes of freedom and democracy. We will make use of your voice, sounds of your body, and rhythmic and melodic percussion instruments. At the end of the workshop, we will perform the piece together in all of its glory on the stage of the Suk Hall in the Rudolfinum, and we will record the concert performance, perhaps on our own smartphones.
