The Czech Philharmonic String Quartet was founded in 1992. Since its founding, the quartet has given a number of successful concerts in this country and abroad, and it is invited to Japan regularly. In 2019 it will already be going on its eleventh tour. Besides the traditional quartet repertoire, the ensemble plans to continue with popularization and performing excellence, playing music that is both well-known and unknown, classical and popular, but always beautiful, whether at home or on tour.
