The Little Rudolfinum ⬩ The cunning fox Leoš
Be a clever fox and come along with us. Along the way, we will encounter singing animals, and we will also pay a visit to Leoš Janáček. Some people say his music is too case at all! Come and see for yourselves. We promise that in the end, you will all become little singing fans of Leoš. Musical workshops for children at 3–6 (7) years of age
Programme
The goal of the workshop is to familiarize listeners with the opera Příhody lišky Bystroušky (The Cunning Little Vixen) by Leoš Janáček in a very accessible, playful format with the use of a few excerpts. The programme includes not only interactive vocal, rhythmic, and movement exercises related to the opera, but also “direct” contact with the composer, who will show the children nature as he sees it with his own eyes, and especially as he hears it with his own ears, again with the use of brief excerpts from an animated film. Through the workshop, we wish to demonstrate to those who are convinced that Janáček’s music is too complicated for children that this is not the case.
