Czech Philharmonic ⬩ Semyon Bychkov
In our recording and concert plans for Mahler’s symphonies, the time has arrived for the Third Symphony—a work that includes voices and is the longest of all his symphonies. According to voting by the world’s top conductors, it is one of the ten greatest symphonies of all time. It is led by a solo part, for which Semyon Bychkov chose Christa Mayer.
