The Eimei Wind Orchestra was founded in 2019 with only nine members. Under the leadership of its current conductor, Mr. Yuta Nakahata, the club has grown rapidly and now has more than
250 members, making it one of the largest and most prominent high school wind orchestras in Japan. The Eimei Wind Orchestra has achieved outstanding results in competitions across the
country and is now considered one of the most distinctive and closely watched high school wind orchestras in Japan.

Conductor Yuta Nakahata comes from Saitama Prefecture and graduated from Musashino Academia Musicae. Since 2009, he has been working as a teacher and conducting school wind orchestras, with which he has won numerous national awards. He is the author of instructional publications and, since 2020, the principal conductor of the Aoki Philharmonic Wind Orchestra. At Eimei High School, he leads an orchestra that has quickly achieved national success.
