On Wednesday, May 6 at 6 pm we invite you to Galerie Rudolfinum for the continuation of the free series of talks CRASH. A discussion named Worlds Beyond the City of Time with artist Sahej Rahaland curators Edith Lázár and Eva Drexlerová will be moderated by Tjaša Pogačar. The talk will be held in English.
Drawing on the ideas at the heart of the exhibition Sahej Rahal: Beyond the City of Time, the discussion will trace the threads that lead us into and Beyond the City of Time, interweaving ancient myths, speculative fictions, digital technology and metaphysics. We will think about non-human encounters and strange zones where our maps and compasses lose their bearings, and ask what new modes of navigation, communication and storytelling might emerge in their wake. The conversation will also turn to the practice and approaches to world-building, the ways these inform the exhibition, as well as the significance of the world(s) conjured and shaped by distributed limbs, voices and minds in our contemporary moment.
