Young Musicians open Czech Week in New York

On December 2nd, the Bohemian Hall will host a chamber concert given by a chamber group composed of 4 members of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestral Academy, 4 students from the Royal Academy of Music in London and, 4 members of Carnegie Hall’s National Youth Orchestra of the USA. Each quartet will perform a movement of a quartet composed in their own country, before joining together to perform Dvořák’s Serenade for Strings.  The programme will be led by Jiří Vodička, concertmaster of the Czech Philharmonic.
